Welcome to the Louisville Restaurants Forum, a civil place for the intelligent discussion of the local restaurant scene and just about any other topic related to food and drink in and around Louisville.
If you're tired, and it's late, and you're really hungry and want something good, and you don't want to spend much money, nothing beats Drunken Chicken at the Frankfort Ave J. Gumbo! 5 or 6 bucks! Beat that!
My favorite for inexpensive comfort food is dundee tavern.. grilled cheese on texas toast, mmm mmm good and barely $5.00. I also love their hot wings, and the ones at Spring Street Bar and Grill too!
Mr. Lou's is one of my new favorite home cooking inexpensive places to eat and if you go from 3-5pm and order a dinner (which usually run $6.99 or $7.99)your drink is free. Their fried potatoes with onions are great and my husband loves the broasted chicken.
