That's weird. Seviche on goose creek (when they served lunch) had a black angus/chorizo burger with a spicy cumin/lime aioli. I thought that was a heart attack worth every bite. I guess I need to try mojito's.

No flak from here, John. I'd certainly rate Ollie's among the top tier of fast-food burgers ... in fact, I think I need to get down there sometime real soon.

The Patron has a nice burger. I'll second The Bristol as well.

Resch's Tavern on Eastern Blvd., Clarksville, does a really decent cheeseburger for lunch on the cheap. Decent chili and soup as well. Less that $5 for just about anything. It's a neighborhood bar.

I miss burger night at Myra's on Grinstead where Burger's Market resides. I also miss being 24 years old with an apt. in The Highlands, etc.

Wish we were in Louisville. I believe our Paradise Burger would give'em all a run for their money.

Pat's Steakhouse has a fantastic cheeseburger. Definitely a sleeper on their menu. 8)

Close enough, Steve ... it's in the metropolitan area, and it's a local call!

Any burger at the Granville Inn is definitely one of the best in town.... And there are a lot of good ones out there. Some other favorites of mine are Jack's, Wagner's Pharmacy, and I know they're chains, but I'm a fan of Culver's and Steak and Shake!

Stan's Fish in St. Matthews serves burgers made with local, grass-fed beef from Dreamcatcher Farms.

Yeah, I haven't had Jack's, but everyone says it's great! It's weird how you never end up eating at the restaurant that's right next door to the one you work in. I'm ashamed to admit I've never been to Havana Rumba, either.

That's true, and Dreamcatcher beef is grass-fed and natural. We buy a LOT of meat from Stan for cooking at home. But that said, I find it really hard to go into his eatery without getting a fish sandwich. 8)

Actually, come to think of it, I was at Jack's last week and had the burger. It was pretty delicious. Usually, I just have dessert and drinks there, but this time, I had a burger, dessert, and drinks.

Jacks and Bourbon Bistro on Frankfort are my two favs, I need a jack fry's burger at least once every two weeks. ..

I had a Johnny Rockets double at the Chicago airport yesterday and it was gooooood! I don't usually do the chain fastfood thing either. So I was surprised.
