So, do we still have some PR types here to promote this thing? Robin, I know you have contacts at the, ahem, local papers. :D

I'm happy to do some promotion work - given that Marketing is my thing. However, Robin is more "connected" with the local print "establishment"

Actually, I'm probably not that good a choice, Melissa. I don't like Gannett, and they know it. ;) So if you're willing, please have at it with my blessing.

I do understand that Marsha had a call from one of the Scene folks, though, and they might do something Saturday. It'll be interesting to see whether they mention LouisvilleHotBytes.com.

I got an email out to my neighborhood association. I suspect it will continue to circulate around Old Louisville.

We should have a poster image shortly for the benefit.
I would be happy to coordinate with anyone working on the PR aspects of this thing.

I have Photoshop skills, if they can be useful with any of the promo stuff. I'm pretty slammed until the 11th (Miss J'Town Pageant), but after the 11th, I can do whatever ... pick-up, calls, etc. Available for set-up on 16th.

Need specifics, please. Start time, is there an ending /closing time? Also DCE address. I can drive there, but what's the address?

I'm getting emails asking for info! yeah!

I sent info on both the Boombozz and DCE benefits to the Old Lou Information Center. The staff there sent the notice out to several hundred people.

Matthew, I hope you've got lots of coffee in stock. :D

I just had my husband email a friend who is an anchor at a local TV station. Let's hope they pick it up!

I just discovered Adam's last name today from Kris: it's "Tatum", in case anyone needs to know. I noticed the villevoice article said "nobody seems to know his last name".

Leah, I think Matthew said earlier that the dollar-per-beverage donation thingy counts for all day on the 16th, but I'm assuming the auction, dessert sales and music will be in the evening. Start time is up to Matthew. John and I are designing the poster tonight. It'll be printed before the weekend. As soon as we know more details, one of us will post them.

Lots of good stuff coming in for the auction. LOTS. I will post a partial list later or tomorrow. Save your dollars, people!
