And it looks as if the food was not the problem with all of those that got sick...It was the staff.....This was on the local news last week....

There's a big difference between "staff" and "staph," Robert. You could look it up ...

The point is that the food chacked out to be OK according to the Shelby County Health Dept. and the problem was found to be in the handling of the food by the kitchen staff.....You can read the entire article on WDRB website or the Shelbyville paper online....As they stated that this may open the eyes of other restaurants about the need to enforce the rules for handling food and keeping things clean like washing your hands and fully washing off tables and so forth after food preperation....

Just went for a ride tonight and took 60 to Shelbville...Cladia Sanders was packed. Some of the cars were parked across the street....bussiness looked very good....

MRSA from pigs has passed to humans and could be in the food chain

OK, I read the entire CDC article and they can't find any relevance to the situation at Claudia Sanders. It discusses the transfer of the MRSA bacteria to pig farmers by contact with the animals not through the meat. Unless I've really missed something it doesn't really look relevant. Also it's an older article not something new.

MRSA is not a virus. Sorry you didn't get the "relevance."

I also fail to see where this is relevant to what happened at Claudia Sanders.

Ron, maybe you'd like to explain to us the relevance of the article you posted. It with this study done about that direct transfer of bacteria from pigs to humans on farms. The problem at Claudia Sanders was caused by people contracting an illness while eating in a restaurant. It's hard to derive parallels.
