No- it was a rather hurried conversation as I needed to get to a commitment. He said a couple of weeks, but I could not press him on a planned date.

Dana McMahan just posted a sneak peek at their menu, which looks exactly like he described. I'm posting here but not sure how readable it is. The prices are quite reasonable.

Opening Date Set

by Bill Veneman » Mon Sep 30, 2013 1:08 pm

Alan and I went to Bristol for lunch today and drove by after to peek in, and Guy was there so I asked about the Opening ("Excuse me, nosey foodie interested in when you are going to open").....

OCTOBER 7, for LUNCH and DINNER!!!!!

Funny thing was there was a dear little grandmotherish lady who was walking up and asking the same thing and was thrilled about the news as well!

The place has an incredible feel to it, and I'm looking forward to dining there!
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

I just stopped by the Brasserie to get a glance before Monday's opening. Guy and his staff are open and ready as of this morning. Anyone looking for a place to dine this afternoon/evening should stop by to enjoy the soft opening. The place and menu look great! (the plaza itself is also undergoing a nicely done facelift).
