Rebecca: Thank you!

I had made a honey sauce for that one earlier today (with apple puree)...but we decided it was too rich to complement the already rich ice cream, and so we nixed it. I hope you got some of the candied pine nuts as a topping. 8)

Marsha ...
:( No candied pine nuts, but it didn't matter. I think you made the right decision to just let it stand alone .... it needed no other compliment. I, too, think a sauce would have made it too rich. Please let us know when you make this one again ... I'll be there for both lunch and dinner!!! :)

I was out that way so I stopped at Gilberto's today and to my delight he had made pear boubon gelato!
Marsha, I promise I am coming in to try all your (and your penguin's) flavors. Watermelon Rosemary? Yum.

Gary, I made "Autumn Pear" sorbet today with brandy and a hint of cinnamon. Thanks for the idea - it turned out great.

I'll be there tomorrow. I was there last weekend and tried your watermelon-rosemary and peach-ginger. They were beyond delicious- I meant to post about them- I must have had a sorbet induced brain freeze.
Thanks for letting me, and the forum, know.

Rebecca! It's just a little sugar, for heaven's sake :P

No fat, fresh fruit.... what's to avoid? C'mon. You know you want to try the pear. </evil>
