another pet peeve is customers who ask for extra salad dressing as i serve them the salad, but before tossing the dressing in and taking a bite to see if there is enough. if you know, before mixing the dressing in and taking a bite, that you want extra dressing then you knew it when you ordered. why didn't you say it then?

Really? I think that's an easy one to understand. When it's served you actually see how much dressing is there and yes that's a sufficient indicator as to whether they will need extra dressing for some people. How is someone supposed to have ANY indication when they order?

Can't say I haven't heard the term before...

I'm imagining someone on those windy roads out on the way to Westport, roadie sloshing around in the cupholder. Let's not and say we did!

Now, Antonia, as a Centre grad, I know you've done the 40 oz challenge...

It's sad that the 40 oz. challenge is no longer necessary. I'm sure 127 Liquors is barely holding on now... :?

Dave: the 40 oz. challenge was a drinking race between non-driving purchasers of booze in Anderson County on their way back to good ol' Danville. The ultimate roadie challenge. There were certainly some noteworthy champions.

Love it! As a former resident of Danivlle, it brings back many a memory.

Yeah, I feel bad for 127 Liquors and their competitor across the street with Boyle County going wet finally. Those two places absolutely killed it from Centre/Danville business.

How about K-bob for a roadie/traveler? Anybody heard this one or know its origin? Other names for portable potables?

If on foot, dog. As in walking the dog.
