Sounds a lot like the place I grew up with:
Bay and Goodman. Actually their present locations look much fancier than the original one which was actually at the intersection of Bay and Goodman streets in Rochester New York. Unfortunately it burned down about 10 years ago. They've also expanded their menu a lot, I suppose in today's market you have to do everything you can to get customers in the door. My friends that still live there say they still make a wonderful pie and it's impossible to get in the door at prime times.
