My thoughts exactly. If I'm catering a small affair or if I want to make something special to bring to a party, CG was definitely the place to go.
NO LOCAL PLACE offers the selection in one place that they have on specialty products and produce. There will definitely be a lot more driving around now. :cry:

Another thought to those in the "Bizz"
Now that CG will not have the retail outlet to use up split case items, I'll bet they jack up the prices on split cases even more, with less items they will be willing to split. :roll:

Online retail for produce won't work. I hope I am wrong but... I seriously doubt it.

The loss of walk-in access to CG breaks my heart a little, but the sentence "the company's current storage facility at 609 East Main on the corner of Hancock Street that was condemned by the state as part of the planned realignment of Spaghetti Junction" is even worse.

This plan will ruin irreplaceable parts of Louisville.
