Thanks Dean- O'Malley and I have 2 nights alone so I will call them tonight. Usually if I have terrible trouble getting in I call the amex concierge and let him beg for me...we are truly pitiful

Just returned last week, if you do not have Danny Meyer's Eleven Madison on your radar for the trip, you need to dish someone else and get in. It is extrordinary, Chef Daniel Humm is producing truly beautiful well balanced food, fabulous service, one of the best meals I have ever had anywhere.

I couldn't agree more Chef. I had a killer meal there. They are cool with BYO also, which is nice if you have a great bottle of something to take along. We ordered a couple bottles off the list, and brought a couple of gems as well. Humm is a badass.

Rainbow Room, Rockefeller center, that place has been around forever! Landmark!
I think that is a definite piece of high power Manhattan for sure.

When you mentioned 68 floors... it reminded me of my first dinner date with my (then dating) husband. Windows on the world ...World Trade Center.
I will never forget it! How the building would sway every once in a while, and you were perfectly alined with airplanes!

I am glad that I got to have that experience.

Eleven Madison looks REALLLLLLY goood! It's on MY list now!
