My Best Friend was working at an LA restaurant ( working thru acting school) as a waitress. It was early, she and one of the chefs were the only ones there. She heard her name called from the kitchen ( rather calmly) by the Chef and went to respond. When she walked in, he had a Chef knife embedded about 5 inches into the middle of his stomach!!!!!!!
The idiot had been opening boxes from a delivery and sliding it towards himself; he slipped and plunged the knife into his own chest. My friend rushed him to the emergency room. Luckily, he missed anything vital and survived to cook again. My friend on the other hand quit her job and never worked in a restaurant again...
