Scott, et al, I know Linda and Mark are up to their eye-teeth in prep and probably not checking the forum of late. When I last checked with them (Saturday) things were on target for Monday's opening. Peeked in the windows while I out and about on Sunday afternoon, and definate progress has been made.

Nov. 1 is still the target date. Linda and I tried to make things more interesting by having our daughters wedding the week before.

Popped by on my way home last evening to check things out, Linda and Mark were both busy with prep work. Place is looking great, and will be ready for Monday! So excited for them.

Gave you something to do in your spare time.

Stopped in today to say "hi" to Linda and Mark...Still a lot of boxes to unpack but they are up and running and appear to be enjoying the challenge. It's gonna be a really-really nice place.

A suggestion for Mark and Linda...Something as nice as your teaching/demonstration kitchen really needs a name...So maybe a kitchen naming contest would be in order :D Oh and how about no "online" voting...ya gots tah stop in and put your suggestion in a cookie jar.

What ya say ye forumbyters, should the kitchen have a name ?

Mark said I stopped by shortly after you left, Steve. I love the location. (Closeness to Lotsa Pasta is a BIG plus!) I was especially impressed by the built-in storge in the demonstration kitchen and the fact that the area is expandable. I also liked all the "arty" kitchen/serving pieces made by artisans that they contracted with at St. James Art Fair. I'll be stopping by weekly for a while. :)
