Re: Police roadblocks around St. Joseph Orphans Picnic?

2 thoughts having slept-on this idea:

1. I wonder if there is any consideration given to the idea that a roadblock would be "too inconvenient." Granted, there's the whole "if it saves a life argument," but my assumption is that these roadblocks are meant to do what they without causing a major traffic nightmare - like shutting down FA after the party is over.

2. Along the same line of thinking, I wonder what the PR response would be to a roadblock in regards to attendance at St. Joe's next year? Given that many of us voiced displeasure with them in the previous thread, I could see some people saying, "They had that gosh darn roadblock last year that held me up for 20 minutes. Hell if I am going this year." Don't really see the police wanting to negatively affect business for St. Joe's.

Just 2 thoughts w/o any evidence to support.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.
