My wife had the fried chicken, thigh & leg. Excellent, made fresh, and comes with "secret sauce" on the side. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

I thought the plan was to take our food home and eat together, but she attacked the chicken while I was driving. The few morsels I had were very good, and the sauce is addictive. She finished as we pulled in the driveway.

I had the Cuban sandwich, and as others have mentioned, it was very good!

Reasonably certain it's a health department rule. if you're licensed as a concession trailer, you are only permitted to operate in one location for 15 days. I believe that the logic behind it is that concession trailers are most typically used for fairs, festivals and the like, rather than as semi-permanent establishments. This is a fairly new development for Louisville (the semi-perm concession trailer) and the HD hasn't caught up in regulating them.

There's no particular health reason you'd want them to move. It's just the way the reg is written, without this particular application in mind.

Just got back from going today. I got the Cuban sandwich which is HUGE and my husband and I ate it. He got the spicy sauce and I got the milder version. My husband went on and on about how good it was. It was a little salty for me. He also gave us some of the two sauces to dip the fries in. It was addictive in a guilty sort of way. Unfortunately, he was all out of rice. He said all the workers at the dealership bought it all. I'll have to try that next time.

Just got off the phone with him. He is open and says he is at Oxmoor Ford. Going to head over there and see what all the hype is about. I'll report back later this afternoon.

It's really good, but service can be slow because he cooks everything to order. You might consider backing up this discussion until you find the menu image. Call ahead and place your order and he'll have it ready when you get there!

Thank you for the suggestion. It was slow but since it's cooked to order and Reinold carried on an excellent converstation the entire time it's hard to complain about that---plus his son was there and was more than ready to talk.

I found the food to be very good. Hard to expand much on what others said but the sauce on the Cuban was amazing and while it isn't the most traditional style of Cuban I loved it. I took the advice of others and got the rice which was excellent. He called it Colombian style rice and not Cuban. Also mentioned that he would like to expand the menu. Finally the portions were HUGE! This is an instant favorite and I might try to make it back tomorrow.

I went by circa 18:30 and it was closed. He is still at Star Ford. Does anyone know the hours of operation?
