What the hell are you on about? Have you suffered a massive brain injury? Surely no one is really this dense. Just stop posting, please.
Dan E wrote:steve, i don't think you need to quit posting or anything, and i always appreciate a differing opinion, but i didn't see the connection between segregation and Gary's post.
Just in this thread we've learned we're not supposed to patronize White Castle, Waffle House, Papa John's, Carl's Jr (Hardees), and Domino's, all based on political affiliation. At least someone has started a list to keep us from exposure to such hateful places! So, call it the new segregation if you want. Maybe if we get to work, we can have two separate, but equal economies? You gotta have a dream, right?Dan E wrote:I agree that chick-fil-a has the right to dislike whomever they want, but choosing not to support a business that openly goes against your beliefs is not tantamount to segregation.
I've been to Chik-Fil-A a few times. If there was any mixing of sexuality and chicken, I would've noticed.Dan E wrote:In my personal opinion, i would prefer that business owners didn't mix chicken and sexuality at all, but once they do, they should obviously expect others to have their own take on it.
I must've missed where they where acting like dicks. But if that's your standard for not doing business with someone, when may we expect you to announce the boycott of NABC?Dan E wrote:And for what it's worth, my opinion on the matter is evolving somewhat. I used to think that chick-fil-a's stance was silly and slightly off-putting, but that I might still enjoy their product 3 or 4 times a year with a clear conscience, because their opinions didn't really affect me personally.
Now, I kind of feel like that if you're going to act like a dick, maybe i don't want your chicken. but i wouldn't tell anybody else not to eat there.
