Friday night was the Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot (I really like the dive bar with good bbq aspect) and about to put a hurtin' on Boombozz's Highland Tap Room in about 30 minutes!

Cheers!

Friday with sweetie was Arbor Ridge (booked before the review, btw). Today, with friends for brunch, was Furlongs. Tonight, with Mom, was Goose Creek Diner. Arbor Ridge was good.

In a follow up to our visit two years ago to the WC Lounge at 7th & Berry Blvd, I took my bride to have a Three Way. Yes! We went to Skyline Chili on Bardstown Road. This is the first year they have provided table service with candlelight (faux), tablecloth(plastic) covered tables and matching dressed waitpersons.

It was nice. Different. We've done all kinds of dinners, weekend, events so this was a nice change.

Where can you get appetizers (oyster crackers), drinks (unsweet iced tea), 2 Greek salads, her no carb bowl and my three up no mustard, and cheese cake for dessert for a Jackson, on ValentiMes Day??

Next year we are going to do something different( http://www.bernheim.org/event_detail.htm?id=558) but tonight was nice.

I made a semi-elaborate breakfast and we snuggled on the sofa to watch "Julie & Julia".

Dinner at Boombozz's Taphouse on Saturday. First visit to this location. I had the Three Cheese Penne and really enjoyed it. Service was excellent!

Brunch at Ramsi's on Sunday. Always delicious.

Tajana and I slipped into 732 Social with no reservation around 5:45 last night without a hitch.
The Rum Diaries and Pendinis were great.

Root Spinach & Arugula Salad
with a cheese plate (Humbolt Fog & Mahon)

Potatoes Au Gratin and Steak Frites with Castello blue

Finished with a five layer cake (carrot and red velvet layers) with chunks of Reeese's cups in the icing

This was our first time dining at 732 and it was fantastic.

My Darling Grandmother would say: Those Girls are just too two cuties.

Then should would proceed to talk to them;explain I'm single;and attempt to get me their phone numbers. She's a crafty one...I love Grandma.

The funny thing is that while I did a group tasting at the pub on Sat. night, Diana went to 732 Social with her friend. Yesterday we had carry-out from Great Wall, washed down with a delicious, oaky Chardonnay that John at the Wine Rack recommended to me. No complaints. I like the Great Wall for traditional Chinese carry-out, although I'd have liked to go to 732 Social!

My husband and I had a lovely evening with friends Saturday night at L&N. I thought my husband was going to swoon from his enjoyment of his bison! Everything (appetizers, salad, entrees, dessert, etc.) was wonderful.
