There are numerous places in town that have solid Cod fish sandwiches. Yes I agree the Fishery has a good sandwich, but I do have to disagree with those have tried in the past theory.
You might have to ask the" Far Southeners " what they think about Mike Linnig's while you are at it.
Or ask the not quite" Far Easteners " but kinda East of the city on the Ohio River what they think about our Cod Sandwich ( perfected breaded to order )

Add The Fish House at Winter and Barret. That Green River style breading is da bomb, and now they have haddock, too. (Footnote ... okay, they describe their fish product as scrod, not cod, so it's outside the specific criteria of this thread. But do check out the haddock. Or the scrod.)
