Wait until you're my age...Every morning you wake up with a whole new set of friends

We did the name tag thing at the Sake Blue offline and it worked out well...particularly for the guys :P Of course there were a couple of the ladies who I'm sure couldn't figure out why I had to keep checking their name tags every other minute. Doh !!

Steve,

You have room for one more?

I've read the thread about 40 times and keep telling myself I'm too busy. What the hell, I'm coming.

Can you put me and Colleen down. I wasn't sure what we had going on but I'm 87.95% sure we'll be able to be there. It sounds like too good of a time to miss. Besides, I want to bend your ear about this BBQ team stuff and Bats baseball stuff to talk to Robin, Mary, Tom and Melissa about.

Alrighty folks...We've got 40 people, so if there is further interest we'll have to put ya on a "will call" list.

Once again...We know people's plans can change or emergencies arise. If this happens to be the case PLEASE drop me a P.M. and let me know. It's a popular night for canjun fare and I'd hate to have Chris hold a table for 40 and only 30 people show up....So drop me a P.M. if something comes up.

Thank you...Thank you vurry much. :D

Steve, Thanks for all the legwork on this event. Thought I should let everyone know what specials are on tap for that day. Along with our regular menu we are planning a lunch special of a Roast Beef PO Boy with debris. (may have some left for that night as well) That evenings specials will be Grouper Bienville Fresh Gulf Grouper topped with Shrimp, Blue Crab, mushrooms, peppers in a romano cream sauce.(one of my Favs). For the beef lovers (last chance before lent) we will have Crawfish stuffed Filets with a redwine Demi Glace. King Cake, (find the baby and win a prize package). Of course Hurricane specials in a keepsake glass, Special pricing on all Dixie and Abita beers, and our regular Tuesday special 1/2 price bottles of any wine on our list. Also Beads,Beads, Beads........ Let me know if you would like me arrange name tags for everyone. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Let the Good Times Roll.

I will still be there but due to roads, work and dependant pets it may be closer to 7:15 before I can get there.

Seriously now, folks, I expect main roads should be clear by tonight and neighborhood/subdivision roads at least negotiable. But IF for any reason you feel you can't make it, please don't forget to post to this thread or let Steve P know. We've got a huge number of seats reserved, and it isn't fair to blow it off without letting Selena's know they can open them up.

What Robin said.

Surprisingly we've had only 3 people say that something came up and they can't make it for dinner (and 2 of those are still likely going to show up for after dinner cocktails)...So we're still holding seating for 40.

Thanks to everyone for the hospitality for our first offline, and especially, thanks to the staff at Selena's for a great job. The food was wonderful and you handled the group with ease.
We hope to have a chance to talk to more people at our sophomore offline effort.

What a great time! I had such a wonderful time visiting with so many folks that I didn't get to visit with everyone. Selena's did a great job handling the large group. Loved the oysters.
A special thanks to the two supermen that pushed my car out of the snow drift. Steve and Dan need red capes and shirts with big red Ss on them! You guys are the best, thanks again.

Stupendous evening! :D :) :D Wonderful food! The Grouper Bienville, fresh gulf grouper topped with shrimp, blue crab, mushrooms, peppers in a romano cream sauce, was totally to die for and would have made a wonderful evening without all the friendship and camaraderie. Many thanks to Steve for his planning and coordination and to Chris and his staff for the food and service. Like Carla, my only regret is that I didn't get to meet and visit with everyone.
