If I'm dipping, tight ridges. Otherwise it's Grippo's FTW. Iove those barbecue chips so much. In fact, though getting a little off topic, my recent favorite home snack is microwave popcorn with Grippo's barbecue spice added. Embarassing to some small extent but I could eat so much of it. Tried to add it to some pasta para duros but it wouldn't stick well enough.

Grippo's BBQ taste good, but am I the only one that thinks they are crazy mushy?

Yes, Marsha, they're mushy. I think Grippos are the worst chip on the planet. What's with the furry feel?

You'll see them every once in a while, but not regularly. For a little while you could get a couple varieties from Snyder's of Berlin in Kroger, including the Ketchup flavor which is a bit of a rarity in general outside of Canada from what I understand. It's been a while though, but it's been in the last couple years I think.

About 5 years back they did a special BBQ chip in UK themed bags, which I was picking up in a convenience store in Frankfort. It was awesome, and very different from their usual BBQ flavor, I was very sad when they were all gone.

I agree they aren't very crispy, but I don't think I'd go so far as to call them mushy.

They did a "Buckeyes" themed bag up in Ohio...quite popular. Man, I'm gonna have to make a "chip" run before the Colts Bowl.

Herr's potato chips, some of the most unique chip flavors and really good. Babyback rib, old bay, roasted sweet corn.
