Glad the Saints made it to the Super bowl, but I have to agree with Carla

They did use Favre as a tacklin dummy, and it wasn't nice.

Heather, you are absolutely right. It wasn't very nice. It looked a lot like what the Vikings did to Tony Romo last week. And the Saints did exactly what the Vikings would like to have done to Drew Brees. Ok, now back to food. Have I ever told you that the Bloody Marys and Jambalaya sold in the Superdome during Saints games are actually very good?

Your right, it is part of the game. I only saw one hit(late)that could be called dirty.

The hit that Favre took just before the first interception (two defenders hitting the same leg in different places) looked very late and very dirty to me, if that's the one you're talking about.

That said, no one's fault but his own that he threw across his body across the field for the second interception. That was a very freshman mistake to make.

I agree with Jon.
Should they not tackle him just to be polite?
Dirty plays happen all the time, we don't discuss them as much because that kind of stuff gets lost during regular season games. there are ten times more people watching the championship games, so there are more feelings getting stepped on during this time. I loved the game! Go Saints!!!

I've looked at that one in slow motion and it comes the closest to being a violation (of the "Brady" rule). That's the one where McRay and Ayodele hit him high and low and rolled on him prompting an interception. But, it all of the carnage in that play probably wasn't deliberate since Ayodele can't even see McCray. Hey, it's the nature of the game and Ray Edwards certainly was looking for his chance to clobber Brees. Enough already for me. Have I mentioned how tasty the Blood Marys and Jambalaya are in the Superdome?

Boombozz Taphouse for the Superbowl would be pretty nice. When does the new one open in Westport Village?
