I finally made it out to Norton Commons to check out Tea Station Chinese Bistro. It's a winner! The hot and sour soup was incredible! Had enough heat to warm, but not scorch and was sour enough to catch your breath if you inhaled at the wrong time, but not so sour it would make you pucker. Everything was very fresh, the flavors were excellent and portions were just right...and it's all MSG free. I tried the Twice Cooked Pork and my friend had Curried Chicken. They were both listed as hot dishes, but were not very hot...fine by us, but those that like really hot stuff should request the heat. The food was great, really like the cheese wontons. Lunch prices are very affordable, around $7 and includes soup, fried rice and the cheese wontons. Dinner prices were in the $10-$12 range, the most expensive thing I saw was a duck special for $15, so it's very affordable. They do some sushi at night, have a large selection of hot teas as well as bubble tea.
The bistro is rather small, maybe seating for 30-40 people at most, but they do outside seating in warmer weather. It's very well decorated and they don't skimp on bistro-style presentation, even at lunch time. The service was very good, there was one server and the owner working, both were on the ball and very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back, I'm debating about going back today!
