I thought they would re-open the little place they had there before (Colonnade?) when I heard something about this.

I've eaten at the one in Montgomery Ohio (northern suburb of Cincinnati). Sort of a Jeff Ruby's clone. Similar menu (even down to a limited number of expensive sushi rolls), very good quality (personally I liked Ruby's more, but only ate at Merlot's once). At least that one has a lot of floor space (tables far apart, very private), and servers very well trained. Decent wine list, tho not as many by-the-glass as I had hoped (and high prices). Will be interested in seeing what they do here!
