If you have any extras I'll take them. Just let me know.

Lonnies for the relish as well as the "sport"peppers that really make the dog. Celery salt anywhere. The poppy seed buns are harder to by here in Louisville. I am sure someone from the forum will post up a spot to get some...?
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Before the games begin in earnest, I'd probably take #3 of a #10 pound case...Anyone else ? Mr Hagen ?...Anyone ? Anyone ? Beuhler ?

I would take part of the box if you go that route.

I'd love to take part of a order of Vienna hot dogs if some are still available- gotta show the kids what a REAL hotdog tastes like! :D

Ok
Steve P 2 lb
John Hagan 2 lb
Steve Shade 2 lb ?
Justin Hammond 2 lb
Deb Hall 2lb
That makes ten
How about when Steve P gets back we could set a place to meet and split up the dogs. Ill throw the Tap Room(clay and main) out as an option. Say late afternoon one day?

Or you could get them direct from the Windy City ... http://www.tastesofchicago.com/product/hotdogkit/Vienna_Packages

Add a couple Lo Malnatti's deep dish pies in the mix and you hit the jackpot!!

Sounds like as good of a place as any to me. I'll second that. Just give me the date and time!

Sounds good to me...Depending on the time of day I may send a surrogate to pick up my little stash. Becky works downtown and I am loath to mess with rush hour traffic...No biggie, we'll make it work.

Somewhere away from downtown rush hour might be a good idea, but I still think it should be somewhere that we can enjoy a beer.

I have no idea where all you folks live but no doubt John has the farthest drive (Shelby Co.)....Perhaps somewhere in the vicinity of Hurstbourne/I-64. Are there any good watering holes nearby ? Ya'll decide and I'll find a way to get there.

Getting these hot dogs is the best thing that's happened to me all week! :D

I'd love to go to the Tap Room to pick up, but now that my office is WAY out East, getting downtown during the work day isn't possible. I'd happily come meet you guys for a beer after working hours, or alternately I could arrange to have John hold on to mine and pick them up at his place sometime.

If you want to move the meet to Hurstbourne/64 I can sneak out during the day or meet after work. Maybe Willow Lake Tavern for a beer? or one of the tacquerias?

Is anybody buying buns?

BBC East is half way close to 64/Hurstbourne
BJ's Brew House

That's all I can come up with, but downtown is not a problem for me either.

Are they still open? I heard it was for sell, but works for me if they are open. A cerveza and fish taco might get me out of the winter blues.

Spinellis and Boombozz are also close.
