4 kegs of Bonfire mysteriously appeared in the Bank Street Brewhouse walkin cooler yesterday. Should I tap one?

Should I command staff to tap one?

So far Jared has been able to take over 23 taps at the NABC Public House & Pizzeria. This is the largest selection of NABC brewed beers to be on tap, ever. ThunderFoot will be added early next week. Get some.

Actually, Thunderfoot was added today while I was there and I believe I had the first pour. It was delicious, per usual.

I do have a question though. Are you going to take over the rest of the taps at Grant Line, or is this as big as it will get? I asked our waitress, but she seemed a bit confused by the question and then opined that she would like to see the Schlenkerla Marzen off tap because "it smells bad." At that point I decided to save my question for later.

Also, the Imperial Belgian IPA brewed with The Livery is excellent. If anyone is heading across the river into chain territory  for NABCieged, I highly recommend it.

The La Douche Mental, Imperial Belgian IPA, was NABC's first collaborative brew. The next is C1, a collaboration between NABC, O'Fallon and Shlafly, which will be on tap at both NABC's and scant few around Louisville. The collaboration brews are totally NABC Garage brewer Jared Williamson's baby and he has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

When I posted the ThunderFoot comment, Jared had just sent me an e-mail to the effect that ThunderFoot was buried in the back of the cooler and 40 kegs had to moved to allow access. He dug it out and moved the portable keg box out of Prost just to get it on. Glad you enjoyed. As far as adding more beers to the line-up, we'll see. Some of the beers we are offering during the siege are one keg and in some cases a five gallon keg. I think the beers will change over fast during the opening salvos. Get some.

Is there something in particular you'd like to see?

Perhaps it should be noted that the unsolicited opinion about Schlenkerla's bad smell does not reflect the official policy of the establishment ... and a trip to the woodshed is imminent.

I'll be at the Public House this afternoon to nip at the Thunderfoot.

If some Oaktimus happened to float to the surface, I would be quite grateful!

I didn't ever assume that it did. My roommate can attest to the look of shock upon my face when it was unjustly maligned!

The only beer that won't be available. We do have a nice stock of Oaktimus aging for the Spring/Summer season.

You're missing out as a result. It's one of the better Belgian IPAs I've had. Some times, you just have to get past the name.

Man, I dunno Roger...It would be a lot easier for me if you just renamed the next batch "La Beef Jerky Mental". This whole "Douche" thing sounds like there'd be WAY to much of a vinegary over tone. :P

I figured it wouldn't be available, but it was worth a shot. I'll just console myself by coming back for another La Douche Mental sometime in the next week.
