THAT'S IT !!! I couldn't figure out why the guy looked soooooo familar. Awesome job David. I knew there was a reason (other than cooking) that I liked Kevin...Oh and now that I think about it Jennifer reminded me of "The Grinch".

M'k, just to share something with everyone:

I totally crushed on Jennifer. No piece of that girl did I not think was wonderful. I liked her approach, her attitude (especially when things didn't go well,) and her aesthetic. From what I understand about the house of Ripert, she is a pretty good representation. The flaw, rather the thing that didn't seem to fit, is that their style is about mis-en-place. Cooking on the fly is not the way they approach things. It is all studied and well thought out, well in advance. They do not slap anything together, ever. Maybe I'm wrong on this...

Oh yeah, and did I mention she is cute as a button? Like Fabio, just for the boys, lol!

Team Kevin!!!!

I watch Top Chef with a group of friends every week and we're pretty sure that if neither of the brothers win, they will have their own show.

Kevin has been my guy from day one. I like that guy's style. This has to be the most talented final three EVER!!! In fact, I believe I predicted early on that Jennifer, The Brothers Voltaggio and Kevin would be in the finals. They were, as a group, head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. Should be a great finale. Can't wait...

Stephen,

Get a grip son. You can fantasize all you want about her tying you up with butchers twine and screaming profanity while beating your naked bottom with a whole beef tenderloin if you want but that doesn't change the fact that she is a little bee-ach. 8)

you all are too funny!

I say Kevin all the way!
He also sort of reminds me of my partner Mike, in appearance (Mike's taller), gentle giant, and a stand up guy.
His food is straight forward, simple, clean flavors, down to earth!

Those are attributes that will hold out over the cockiness of Voltaggio 2.
I just hope that Kevin does not go and try something "New" during the final, that seems to come back and bite people in the tush every time!

I think Kevin will win. He is a good chef and seems like a really nice guy.
I do think the Voltaggios should be in the finals with Kevin (I was SOOOOO glad to see Jen go).
Bravo has been playing up the Voltaggio Brothers sibling rivalry all season, and that's one reason I don't think that either one of them will win. I do think Michael is a good chef, but he's very young. Bryan definitely has more experience.
I'm rooting for Kevin!

In case anyone missed it, Michael (the younger, snottier Voltaggio) won. Kevin got booted first but, to be fair, drew some weak Sous' in the Final. (personally, I thought Michael's dessert stunk)! Sloppy presentation/overcooked/ and very simplistic for a dude that prides himself on pushing the envelope. Oh well, they are all set for life......

I think Kevin is great. My son told me yesterday that one of his fellow students as Johnson and Wales is going to Kevin's restaurant to do his externship! I thought that was pretty cool!
