Gigi's Cupcakes now open

I go where the food is good and service is solid. IF it happens to be a chain, then so be it. Hate me now.

I stopped in on Sat. morning to find the place empty. I stood around for a couple of minutes and never saw one person, so I left. The cupcakes looked normal size to me with a ridiculous amount of icing piled on top.

Ridiculous amount of icing is right.

Still, it's a happy place and my first thought when I walked in and saw all of those beautiful cupcakes was "I want to work here!" I had the same reaction when I walked in The Cupcake Shoppe. Cupcake shops are just happy places.

Anyway, the strawberry shortcake flavor is yummy.

Cupcakes seen in the mirror are larger than they appear?

Looks normal to me. Both the cupcake size and the icing amount.
