Yes, and I am not saying it lightly. It was a truly flawless meal.

Here was the spelling mistake on the wine:

Arnaldo Capri Rosso di Montefalco

instead of

Arnaldo Caprai Rosso di Montefalco

That missing "a" wasn't enough to ruin the meal for me.

Heck no! Not even worth a mention. I was just looking at a somewhat more troubled list for a high-end view restaurant that's just about to open, so I was fixated on irritating wine-name problems.

agreed, and frankly given their attention to detail, I am surprised it happened. (now watch me be wrong about it  )

Truthfully, I can't tell you when I'll be able to afford dinner there, and was checking out the lunch menu yesterday, and it looked . . . well . . .

DULL.

There. I said it. It looked dull and boring and like I could have more interesting selections for half the price at a million places downtown.

Any thoughts?

I have never been to lunch there but the dinner was dull for me. It seemed like a child trying to wear adult clothing. They presented stuff as "fine" or upscale but the food was "eh" for me and didnt live up to the long titles. It is a decent place and compared to many places it would be the best but compare it to places similar and it's not that great.

Be like me, trust no one and check it out for yourself.

John: Would you go back for dinner, or not?

Yeah, probably, if the circumstance was right. I like it as an option. To be fair to them, I have been twice and both times they were ridiculously busy. I tend to scope places so that I may go when they arent busy. I hate cramped, busy-loud restaurants.

If it has been a while since you've been, I'd recommend giving it a shot beofre you write it off as dull based on one visit. The menu really has some nice stuff on it.

Sorry I was editing while you were posting. I have been there twice, first when it opened and about 4 months ago. It was competent just not dazzling for me. I will probably go again sometime soon. Also to Primo, I have only been to Primo for lunch and it was good but not dazzling. I just love being dazzled, which isnt fair to any restaurant. :P

These types of places change menus all the time which is good and bad. Good if they want me to come back, bad if I find something I like.

I understand the wisdom and logic of opinions based on repeated visits but shouldnt the same apply to positive experiences? Im sure its easier to go back when its positive, thats for sure. That would sound odd. "You think you like it based on one visit, you need to go back a few times before you write it off as great" haha! That's funny
