Ed and I were talking about the need for some back ground music at the pot luck. We were thinking perhaps some Metallica, Van Halen....maybe a little AC/DC...whatta ya'll think ? 8)

Just a passing thought here...We're probably going to have a ton of vittles and on the assumption that there will be left overs, I for one wouldn't be hurt at all if people happened to bring along a couple of plastic "to go" containers. Be a shame to have any of this good chow go to waste.

BTW, just as an aside...Dan made a good serving suggestion in a previous post, i.e. using standard sized disposable aluminum pans (I just picked up a pack of 30 of the 1/2 size at Costco and will bring them along if anyone needs them). Whatever ya do don't bring aunt Betty's antique deviled egg dish...We just won't have the time to track you down and return it when you forget to take it home.

As another aside, Ed says there is an oven at the facility so we'll do our best to make it available to keep food warm until serving time.

No actual address just the map coordinates in the first post of this thread. I will put a few signs up on the road with maps & diagrams and 27 glossy color photographs......stop...Alice's Restaurant flashbacks again, disregard.

For the prettiest drive head out 42 towards Oldham County and turn left at Rose Island Rd right across from the 5 Star Marathon Station before you head up the hill into the OC. Follow Rose Island Rd all the way to the only stop sign at Hwy 1793. Proceed straight across 1793 for another 1/2 mile to Cardinal Harbour Rd, turn left onto Cardinal Harbour Rd and look for the Pavilion on your right about 150 yards up the street, parking lot in front of the building and come on in!

Remember guys, I'll be bringing five chafers with me, so we can keep 10 dishes in 1/2 pans warm!
I'm also bringing assorted disposable servingware as well :D
