Katie and Bill. I would like a little more info on why you feel that way. I like both, Joes a little better.

I agree, although I do think the quality of J. Gumbo's (no longer Gumbo A Go-Go) varies quite a bit among the franchises. The original Clifton location is splendid, J'town pretty good, but I've had a lot of negatory reports about the one on Baxter.

Oh don't get me wrong...I LOVE Joe's. It unfortunately does not love me. I still eat there because I think it's worth the pain but I can't do it as often as I like.

I also like it better then J. Gumbo's. I have only been to the Clifton location and it was back when it was Gumbo A' Go Go.

I'm very much the same way....like the food, the food hates me.....I've never tried Joe's, but if one does me in, the other will as well.......
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

kimchee
I mean the real buried/fermented, smell it 2 doors down, white hot deliciousness.

worth the 2-3 days of heartburn to me
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy
