Re: 100 Things Restaurant Staffers Should Never Do (Part 1)

I honestly think that all these adomnitions, from both sides of the table, can be applied to our lives and how we deal with other people in general, not just while dining. Working in a restaurant just kind of puts a super spotlight on bad behavior in general.

There was a server at a Denny's (I know) while it was still open on Hurstborne Lane. I could not remember her name for the life of me, but my friends would always dine there after getting off work at nite from restaurant duty.

She was the greatest. Seriously, one of the most down to Earth-tell it like it was persons on the planet. One night my friends and I were there around 2am after getting off work. She had a couple other table; nothing significant. Someone from the other tables snapped their fingers to try and get her attention. Her immediate response?

"Oh,Hell no. You just didn't snap your fingers at me."

I loved that server.
