Ohhhhhhh come on Kyle. Yeah, so you hired a few ugly ones last year but don't be so hard on yourself. At least the one with the nose ring and the big ol' "tramp stamp" was kinda cute.

No offense to Will, I love going out there to eat, but for something like this, if you want to take a cab home,it could be costly! LOL As to locales, there's also, Clifton Center and any number of women's clubs (Crescent Hill, St Matthews)??? If it's all being done to raise can goods (for whom, Kentucky Harvest?) then maybe some place will be willing to donate the space or cut a deal for the cause! "The Louisville Hotbytes Fall Ball Food Harvest" Anyone work at a printing company? Or, was this simply for die hard Byters?? Just questions!!! LOL

Steve, since you have taken charge to organize, I think you should pick the venue you like. A new one to keep in mind is http://www.soireeky.com ( I like supporting Oldham County businesses ) and I know you are in Buckner, so it would be easier for you to coordinate the closer you are.
Date wise, and day wise, I'd like to see November 13thThat is a Friday night. The weekend needs a good kick off party and this one looks like it has potential. Plus, my girlfriend is going to be out of the town on the 14th and has otherwise locked up the first weekend with her birthday... and the following week gets into Thanksgiving.
I'm also curious about ticket prices being 20-25 dollars so everyone doesn't have to worry about cooking and maybe cater some food in. What about a soup bar? Some potato soup, chili, chicken tortilla, veggie, white chili -- heck why not just do a chili cook off!
Deb Hall wrote:I love the soup/chili bar idea, but like it better if everyone cooks. We have a whole lot of great cooks on here, and it'd be alot cheaper than buying tickets.
