So many great suggestions! Thanks everyone :) Well as I just discovered my three young nieces and nephew are also going to be along that does decidedly narrow down the choices...the conclusion being at this point that I am going with Stephen's suggestion of Kingfish on the river as it should satisfy all the different parts of our party and it is such a great time to eat outdoors there..we will also be planning an outing to Havana Rumba very soon now as it was another one of my final choices until the child factor was weighed in. I will be getting my Ramsi's fix at a birthday dinner next week, though now I have an entire list of places I want to make the rounds at over the next few months!

Thank you for all the welcome backs, I essentially had a cogenital heart problem that was causing my heart rate to go upwards of 250 at random...luckily it was easy to find the source of the misfire and burn the tissue causing it off my heart in a cardiac catheter ablation. Doing fine now, and have been back to work for a few days.

I agree it will be a beautiful evening to eat outside along the river. However, I think he would be doing yourself a big favor by going to Captain's Quarters instead of Kingfish. The food is much better as is the atmosphere.

Koreana on Preston. Great place for a big top to sit around a table and grill your own food. Great Kimchi as well!

Sorry for the late post but I just had to acknowledge annemarie's subtle suggestion, sort of a double entendre, recommending Le Gallo Rosso, which, as most will recall, was the tiny locale recently criticized for hosting a large, happy and loud celebration party without giving the "expected" advance warning to other diners seated nearby. Annemarie, this might be a first for you! :D
