LOL, I was actually thinking about getting the Rich O's treatment when I read this!

We've enjoyed our visits. 3 times, I think. Haven't had time for a meal at this location yet. Will plan to do that this weekend.
Sergio's will help keep Louisville wierd and I say that in the nicest way.
Our younger daughter lives nearby in Irish Hill, so we got her to join us on one visit so that she would be comfortable with the new place. (See your parents are here. It's alright.) She and our older daughter got us to try Big Al's nearby.
I wish I were more of beer geek. I just know that I like good beer and enjoy the atmosphere and friendly people in these establishments. I think that is why we enjoy sitting at the bar in most restaurants. You usually don't have the opportunity to chat in a restaurant. (We really enjoyed our recent meal at Del Frisco's but I don't think the 10 top next to us, in town for the horse show, would have turned and talked to us if we had tried to start a conversation :D

See, we've been going to Rich O's for years, always refusing to sit anywhere but the Red Room even if we have to stand for hours to get it. Heck, I even got you guys to reserve the Red Room once about two years ago for a birthday get-together. I've never felt anything close to Soup Nazi treatment there - it's always been welcoming.

I wouldn't let your imagination get in the way of trying a new and unique venue. I have never seen Sergio give anybody the "soup nazi" treatment. The only thing I can ever think of considered close to this would be this... one time at the old location a group of loud frat boys came in and took up a table near the bar. It seemed Sergio went of his way to take orders from everybody in the place before them. These guys got a little steamed and walked out, leaving the joint quiet and more comfortable for the remaining patrons. If you still feel unnerved about a trip in there, I would be more than happy to avail myself as your ambassador to Sergios.

Good for Sergio. Nothing worse than loud frat f*x.

Your self sacrifice is admirable and should be rewarded with beer, much good beer.

I think you have to come over to DCE for the soup nazi treatment... Sergio is a gentleman and a scholar. Much more forgiving than I am.
