Makes me want to show games at Ray's but it'd mess up the ambiance......hmmmmmmm......(we do have beer afterall)

The Monkey House and Football ?.....ehhhhhhhhh the thought ain't working for me. Quirky ambiance and professional sports just don't seem to go hand in hand.

You can count on one of our 4 Flat screens in the tavern side to be on the Tampa game, the other 3 as well as 2 in dining rooms are available for whichever game is requested first (lots of requests for Saints last year, something about Gumbo and Dixie Beer pairings). We do have the NFL Suday Ticket and all games will be available. We are working on our gameday specials menu now for the NFL that I know will include buckets of 5 domestic beers starting at $10 as well as 1/2 price bottles of all wines on Sunday. Saturday college gamedays will see more specials tied to our Seafood boil starting with Blue Crabs, switching to Stone Crabs with season opening mid October. I would love to hear from any buccaneer fans in the area.

GO BUCS!!!!!

5 domestic beers for $10 ???....Hell Chris, what are you thinking ? You'll have every Steelers fan in town slobbering all over you bar. Almost as bad, it'll probably draw in a few Falcons fans as well. <sigh> It'll suck to be you.

The "ViQueens". I started following them a bit when I lived in MN and I've gotta say that they have GOT to have the biggest "fair weather" fans in the country. As soon as that team goes below .500 all that purple stuff goes back in the closet until next year. BTW, you could always tell a Packer fan from a Vikings fan at a party. The Vikings fan would show up with a six pack of beer...The Packer fan would show up with two cases of beer. My kinda folks. :P

Seconding the need for a bar that hosts Titans fans. I've looked for one before but with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Dan,

Ohhhhhh, so that's how we're going to play the game huh ? Pull the Belichick card ? Actually if you want to be correct you must refer to him as "Santan's son" (Satan being Art Modell). The man ruined a bunch of careers in ol' Cleve-burg, including my man Bernie's (who BTW filed for bankruptcy about a month ago). Jeeez, man that was a low blow. Next thing ya know you'll be pulling the Butch Davis/Tim Couch card on me. To the bone man, to the bone that's how bad you're cutting me.

BTW, yes, as a result of their won/lose record the Browns DO in fact suck. The Sqeelers on the other hand suck despite their won/lose record. :P

ATTN Titan Fans:

I stopped in for lunch today at "Buffalo Wings and Rings" on Hwy 146 (Anchorage I think). The manager said they are a huge Titans bar. It's a nice/clean place, friendly service, average "bar food" and lots of really-really nice TV's.

Hope this helps.

The BBC in St. Matthews is NOT a Bears bar. Still looking... You would think there would be a Chicago Bears bar in Louisville....

Well BBC told me they were a Bears bar. They even have a bus trip planned to Cincy when they play the Bears.

The one in St. Matthews? I called just before I posted that and they told me they were not. Hmmm....
