New Pizza Joint spotted under construction in the Highlands

We tried to stop in for lunch yesterday but it seems they didn't pass one of their inspections -- something to do with drywall. It'll be a few more days.

Pastas are $8.50 (lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti) and pizza by the slice is from $4.38 (cheese) to $6.06 (Highlander- pretty much every topping, plus you can request anchovies). I don't know how large a slice is, but it is half the price of the 10 inch. Pizza is also available in 14, 16, and 18 inch crust (original, super thick, or thin).

I've been wanting to try this place for months since I first noticed the construction, but $4.38 (what a weird price point) for a slice of cheese pizza seems outrageous. A "regular" slice should never cost more than public transportation!

There was an excellent, reasonable place in St. Louis and they were always busy.

I think maybe we've had this same conversation before, or otherwise I'm having a big case of deja vu. I never had Good Pie, but if it's half as good a Vicino it is good.

Either way, I agree about how nice it would be to have something similar here.
