Perfetto Pizzeria: Almost perfect NYC pie

$3.14 for a slice of one-topping pizza just seems high to me! If you wanted a couple of slices and a soda for a quick lunch, you are probably looking at almost $8.

I ate two slices, one cheese and one sausage, and I didn't want anything but salad for dinner that night.

Maybe I'm just a spendthrift, but $8 for lunch seems very fair to me.

Whole pizzas are $11 for a 12-inch, $12.75 for a 16-inch and $15 for a 20-inch, plus 75 cents, $1 or $1.25 for each topping, respectively. Again, this seems fair.

The one time I ate there, the 'slice' was about a 1/4 of a pizza, defintely not your normal single slice. I'd say 'double slice' would be more appropriate.


That said, I still demolished 2 w/ ease.

Yea, from what I remember, Hero's pizza slices use to be nearly two average pizza slices in width. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but that's a lot of pizza; especially when eating two large slices. I , also , believe it to be a good deal @ $8.
