We looked at the side door from the back but it has about a 3" step that my electric wheelchair will not go over. That would certainly be the easiest door to make accessible but at the present time it isn't.

My thoughts exactly. You'd be surprised how many places (even new ones) are not accessible. Another local restaurant that I would like to visit that is not accessible is Meridian Cafe.
