A good riesling or pinot blanc on the dry side work great on a warm afternoon.

Both places had the Taylor and Fladgate.

I know I will get slammed by the wine geeks for this suggestion...but I think a Beaujolais goes great with a burger.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

I'm not a wine geek, but I tend to agree with you. A dry white wouldn't go well with a burger in my opinion, but a light Beaujolais would. I would say I'd prefer a good 'ol beer if I'm sitting in the sun, however. Red wine, no matter now light, just doesn't go over well with me in the heat and sun.

Justin, I don't know much about port other than I tend to like it. I have six or more bottles in my cupboard right now all of which I bought at Westport Whiskey and Wine. The four closest to door are Porto Kopke Fine Tawny Port, Porto Kopke Fine Ruby Port, Porto Rocha Fine Tawny Port and Porto Kope 10 Years Old Port.

HEY !!!!...I resemble that remark :P I'll have you know that we don't ALL drink "fizzy water" and eat Kraft cheese (at least on a regular basis)...and many of us still have all of our teeth.
