Very well said Roger. I hope your trip is going well.

(By the way, John Campbell's anecdote about confronting the AB woman at the Folk Fest was fantastic. You left the blog in very capable hands.)

When I was running my brewery in Tucson, we actually created a new beer just for the ball park (which we sold at the brewery as well of course). It was an amber ale, and I named it homerun red.

After outselling bud, we got kicked out. But the county stepped in and got us back in the following year. This was for AAA ball, similar to Louisville, but the big sales came during spring training. Here's an old article from right after we got booted out if anyone is interested...http://www.tucsonweekly.com/tw/04-01-99/curr1.htm (my sales guy , Mike McGuire has plenty of good quotes in there).

For the record, I'm no longer affiliated with the brewery, although it still has my name.

Hopefully, Brownings can maintain a long term presence at the ballpark, and outsell the macro-swill brews someday. People should be supporting higher quality AND local beer!!! You've just gotta keep pushing, one tap handle at a time...
