The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Hey John, Sorry about not responding yesterday; we had to rush out to go to the Crowne Plaza for the listening session today. Wise choice, getting a room

In any event, the hearing went well, with several people coming from OH, IN, KY, and other parts of the country. The majority, at least 90% of the people there were opposed to NAIS. All in all, it was a good day and we had television coverage, as well. Wendell Berry was awesome. The crowd was very tame and the state police that were hired to be there were very kind and looking, basically, bored.

A few websites to read up on NAIS or NoNAIS...

http://www.nonais.org
http://www.farmandranchfreedom.org
http://www.libertyark.net

Representatives from the Louisville Sustainable organization were there (thank you, we really appreciated that) and The Weston Price Foundation.

One of the funniest things I heard (if you really want to call it funny) was Wendell Berry saying that he was planning on getting out of the farming business, but he has decided to continue raising sheep just so that he can be eligible to comment on NAIS and to defy it, if it ever comes to fruition! We're with you Wendell!
