Went today. It's walking distance from the house :D. Very nice lunch. Loved the falafel. It had rich, deep, spicy flavor, and the texture and warmth were very comforting. The pistachio baklava is yummilicious. Will go back. Didn't seem crowded at all when we were there, although there were some other people. Hope other LHBers go!

Glad to see this place has been getting good reviews--I keep meaning to go here. Hopefully I'll make it there this weekend.

We went by for lunch today and found the food very good to outstanding. Madi was doing a great serving job in spite of being slammed ... just about every table was occupied at midday.

Anne and I enjoyed lunch yesterday at Zaytun. I was surprised by the quality of the gyros. I think I have tried over a dozen different gyros offerings here in Louisville and this one is right up near the top of the list. The tzatziki was very well made and served on the side. The bread component was right on. The gyros meat was well seasoned, maybe just a bit salty. They offer many toppings for the gyros, but I prefer it with just onion and tomato. Its still not going to take Bosna-Mak /Jasmine out of the top spot on my Louisville gyros list, but its nice to have another option for excellent gryos.
We also tried the Tribal fries. I dont think they are in any way a Mediterranean dish, but still looked interesting enough to give it a shot. Pretty much a weird mix of a thousand island'ish based sauce poured over really good fries with melted cheese and cajun type seasoning. I would probably just get the fries plain next time, but I can see this being popular with a group of well lubricated folks. I took a pic of those fries as well, but its just not the most photogenic dish to begin with.

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

A small group from work and I went for lunch earlier this week. We had a bit of a service glitch. My friend ordered the chicken gyro to mix it up. It was put into the system as a classic; not a problem. However when we were all done eating and she was just getting her food, we thought that was odd. All the other tables around us were getting their food but she still had not gotten hers. Her meal was comped, she brought it back to the office and all was well.

P.S. I had the fish sandwich. It was delicious.
