"White Castle", Gayle!

As for what's in it, just the regular stuff - chicken stock, sauteed mushrooms, diced celery and onions. Just use frozen White Castles in place of bread cubes. It really doesn't taste anything like White Castles - I've had LOTS of compliments on it from people who claim to despise the flavor of White Castles - I always get a big kick out of that.

Hold the pickles, though.

I think that would be fun to try for the conversational aspect alone. Thanks for the idea/recipe. CD

Catherine, the frozen ones come with just meat and onions on them, cheese optional. Just choose the no-cheese version, and you won't have to worry about any mustard or pickles or ketchup.

The White Castle stuffing is quite a zany idea... did you come up with it or did you get it from someone else? Good reminder, about the pickles. Doesn't seem like that would be good in ANY stuffing.

Alas, I can not take credit for thinking of it. I can probably take credit for making it for Thanksgiving more than anyone else ever has, though!
