As AnneMarie says-stupid to not insure your business. Also, why "expand" a business when 97% of your customer base opposes your original idea?????

Well that didn't take long - the place was torched last night. Arson is suspected.

It could not have been an inside job.

Ouch.

With all due respect, if there a point here?

Yes, it's shortsighted not to insure. At the same time, how many million Americans lack health insurance? Is it because they're stupid, or might the explanation be a bit more complex?

And: Speaking as someone who began selling real beer when almost 100% of the customers were ignorant of its existence, I'm fond of recalling the time not so long ago when a like percentage thought the world was flat. They were wrong. What's funny about America is that while we cling to the notion that the individual is paramount, we also enjoy indulging in the tyranny of the majority. 97% against one's idea suggests (a) it just might be valid, and (b) there are numerous potential customers waiting to be convinced. In this context, expansion makes perfect sense. Then again, I've been accused of being contrarian.

Rant concluded.

Not a point really, just posting an opinion. My apologies for using the word "stupid", that was unkind of me.
