Road Conditions

I join Steve P. in saying, "If any of the board 'regulars' are in this situation (no electricity) and need a warm place to spend the night please drop me a P.M." I'm on the east side of the Synder, but I am in Jefferson County. My street and drive way got plowed out late this afternoon. My power is underground, so I think I'm good, tho' no guarantee.

As Gayle and Steve stated, I have a spare room with a full bathroom. My pantry, fridge and freezer are fully stocked. If anyone needs a place, mine is open. Be safe.

Well, are you going Saturday? Just kidding, I'm just grateful that we have the capability to make a difference for those who really need it during a bad time. That's basically at the core what it is about for most of us and at the end of day all the reward that is needed, it's a wonderful feeling. I'm very proud of our group, despite the hazardous conditions, cold and constant soaking (I brought several pairs of socks!), and having to pull twice the normal hours, they all did an amazing job without complaint. There will be rough patches while the area recovers but I am thankful that worst is over for now. Wow Matthew we must live pretty close to each other, after finally leaving last night at the 21 hour mark I was exhausted but couldn't help taking some pictures too.... I walked the block over to get the 1st St damage.
