I wish I had seen that! Do you happen to recall who wrote it?

What's that old saying - Ask and you shall receive? All thanks to the The Intrawebs.

Erm ... meh?

Thanks for the effort though, Steve. Not shooting the messenger!

Robin,

I'm confused. And I'm being confused with Steve? Yeah, I'm confused.

Sorry, Matthew. I have absolutely no idea where that came from. Brain flatulence ... a mind is a terrible thing to waste, etc.

Had an opportunity last weekend to take some Humana Festival guests (foundation trustees, board members of other theaters) to Saffron's for dinner. As always, excellent service, excellent food. All the guests but one had the lamb, which is always a favorite of mine. I had a duck special, served sliced thinly (breast) and with the sauce that seems to be frequently used as a base in Persian food (pomegranate & walnuts). Good wine values, I thought. Total tab for nine was $545, with a $40 tip in addition to the 15% service charge due to the size of the group. Thanks, Majid, for showing Louisville's food scene at its best to folks from bigger cities with big expectations.
