I just bought a frozen batch of potato Bourekas (Israeli style)from Jungle Jim's (cinnci) yesterday. I did this so I can have some in a jiffy if I did not want to make them from scratch. There are times we make appetizer size for private events at Meridian. I made them for a special last week, except the other special was shrimp, and shrimp almost always trumps spinach!

I think you can check out Al Watan on Klondike lane, they may have some.

They are soooooooo easy to make if you use them with puff instead of Phyllo!

I am a little busy these days... but if you can wait till after the holidays.. I can make you a batch!

Heather, have been negligent in checking my post! thanks for info. May have to take you up on it. Was trying to do a Christmas present for my dad, who knew the owner of Old Town in Milwaukee. He made the most fantastic burek. I've had it - it's hard to beat! Phyllo with delicious spinach and feta in a big pie. Potato sounds incredible as well. Do you ever get that?

Thanks to everyone for their input! I'm negligent in responding but am going to continue searching and give some of these places a try.
