Steve, thanks for the support. If anyone had watched the show, you would know that all I posted was exactly what went on for the 1/2 hour it was on tv. Just like tv, if you don't like my post, change the channel. There have certainly been many posts I did not like or agree with on this forum, so I just quit reading them.

Amen. Sometimes it really pays to stop and think before posting, especially if one is feeling, um, excited.

It was a fun and entertaining show. I would hardly say that I was excited.

I'd like to say I really had a visceral, disgusted reaction to this last post. I know we're all adults, here, and I'm no prude - ask anybody! (wait - that makes it sound like I'm a whore.... :| ) But I think we can all agree that "civil" discussion of food topics might exclude direct references to panties, breasts and balls.

My thoughts are that it's acceptable to curse in the heat of emotion while posting, but it's in poor taste to let one's libido flap in the wind for everyone to see.

Can I get an "amen"?

Amen, indeed. I don't read this board for language that I consider offensive, but rather for food and restaurant info. I'm occasionally guilty of drifting into a political disagreement, but I don't think I've ever fallen into the easy trap of using offensive language to capture an audience.

Wellllllll, I guess I'm kind of responsible for this. Sorry everyone. I just thought it was kind of a fun thing to happen to us and i wanted to share. It didn't matter, and I didn't think about it, what show filmed here. Really didn't look at the moral side of it and all.

Doogy is a great foodie, please don't get on him because he is trying to help me enjoy 15 seconds of fame.

A couple of threads lately have gotten off track with some bickering. Times for all of us are getting harder, but we are all in it together. Stress is building. Just a thought at Thanksgiving, remember when everyone here came together recently for a fallen foodie and went above the call of duty.
Welllllll......

Everyone have a nice Thanksgiving!

Well, for the record, it wasn't that I didn't "like or agree with" your post, Doogy - I thought it was sexist and disgusting. Once read, it cannot be un-read by "changing the channel".

Wes, I don't hold you responsible in any way, and I don't think anyone could or should. I'm glad you had fun and got some press and I really have exactly zero problem with that.

Doogy, I hope you'll print this thread out and show it to your mom tomorrow since you're so proud of its content. OMG, hilarious.

That's why I put it in quotes, Doogy. To be blunt, your string of off-topic posts gave more of an impression that you were drunk, but I was trying to be nice.

Doogy,

I am not as "nice" as some folks around here..... you have expressed yourself in a course manner, and I for one do not appreciate it.

It is in my opinion that you do not need "support" from anyone on this board, but if you continue to condone your own lascivious behavior, then you should be banished to Siberia!

I am one to frequent this board, and I have just witnessed said show, and the scene in which the girls had to "p" did not warrant such visual encoutrements as you have stated. It would be appreciated if you could keep your lude descriptions to yourself.

I know we all come to this forum with different philosophies both religious and political, and different interests outside of food and Louisville and that is exactly what makes for lively and sometimes heated exchanges. But I think common courtesy to the participants is not too much to ask. If I ever inadvertently offend anyone I hope they would let me know.

Wes, you do not need to apologize to anyone. I wrote that post, not you. For the rest of you, HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

I didn't print it out, but I did bring it up on my mom's PC for her, my brother and his wife to check out. Needless to say, they had a pretty good laugh about it all. Of course, I am well known as the black sheep of the family. They know how I am and they still love me.

Guess I'm the only one who doesn't watch this "reality" show....too much else going on; but I'm sure Hef would still attract beautiful women even if he wasn't rich and the founder of sexually-oriented media empire, right??

And Robin accuses me of posting while inebriated. Give me a break. And before anyone jumps my ass again, check this out first.

And by the way, I am the black sheep of the family as I stated earlier, because all I could seem to do growing up was wrong. :(

Regardless of what some people here may think, I turned out great.
