You know it's bad when you go out to eat, and beer is cheaper than a soft drink. Too bad I don't drink beer.

omg, $7.35 for a grilled cheese? For two slices of bread, and cheese? For a sandwich that maybe cost $1.00, tops, to make? That is nuckin' futs!

You just have to be careful and watch those prices. I vote with my pocket book. If it appears to expensive for the item you are ordering, don't buy it and you will see it leave the menu or the price will come down. People seem to be motivated to buy things by perceived value. Educate yourself on what things cost and go by the cost times 3 rule. It doesn't work for beverages or maybe not a 12oz ribeye. It's never perfect for everything but it gives you a general idea.

Glad I "put it out there"!

In Paris wine is definitely cheaper than soft drinks. While on a trip there, friends ordered sprite.....$7.00, and that was a few years ago!

I think they were taken.
