Nobody's mentioned Rubbie's yet --an outstanding BBQ restaurant attached to a bar. <http://www.rubbies.net >

Now that there's no smoking in the bar ;), we go at least once a week. They offer full meals beyond BBQ, with daily specials like meatloaf, fried fish, chicken livers, baked spagetti.

It's on Southside Dr --take Sothern Pkwy to Kingston to Southside, down past Iroquois Manor, past Seneca Trail to just past Strawberry Ln. On the left. Kenwood Drive-In is just past Rubbie's.

It shares the parking lot with J&R Bakery as well as an Asian/French bakery.

Yum!! 8) Now I have another reason to go towards Iroquois Park besides the stage version of Night of the Living Dead. I've been thinking about going - has anyone else been?

Thank you so much! We made our way over to the Vietnam kitchen on Saturday. Awesome!! That place rocks. I cant believe we never tried it before. We split orders of Cha gio,Goi Cuon, and some Rangoon. I went with the Pho tai bo vien and Anne with Hu tien do bien, with fish shaped fish cake swimming around. We were lucky we got in when we did. Not long after we sat down all the tables filled up and they locked the door to prevent anymore folks from coming in. That speaks volumes, every seat filled.Again, I want to thank the forumites for another great recommendation.
I am looking forward to trying the JnR Bakery for the gyros and the Cuban at Value Market.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

We stopped by Jimbo's Halloween night and the food & service were great, I got the smoked chicken and my husband got the ribs. Sides were good and the rolls were the best! We always have trouble finding something in this area that is not a chain and we definately will be back. :D

We like Indy's on 3rd street next to McDonalds, good chicken and soul food type sides, also have great rib tips with BBq sauce, hot version of it will make you sweat. Very Inexpensive.

GG.
