I sent you a gift cert via email. Also since you called dibs on cake, shall I bring cookies to sell to the coffee drinkers?

Cookies, a cake to auction, whatever! Leah, you've already been so generous with your gift certificate for a night's stay at your B&B. I know how much you care about the success of businesses in Old Louisville.

Shorter answer: yes, cookies, please!

My thoughts and prayers are with Adam. Marsha, I got your message and of course Seviche would like to help. I will donate a " Nuevo Latino " tasting for two. Whoever buys this can just call either restaurant and make reservations letting us know it's the tasting. I will do a five course meal per Chefs whim.

Thanks, Chef Lamas! I'm adding this to the list. Whoever wins this one is very very lucky.

Marsha, got your pm. Impellizzeri's Pizza will donate a $50 gift card, good at either location.

Everyone at Impellizzeri's wishes Adam a quick recovery. We will offer any help to him or his employees during this tough time. It's pizza. It's family.

Wow. Brothers in pizza. Every single place I've contacted that serves pizza has jumped on the chance to help, even though technically they might be Adam's competition.

Thanks, Wes. I will contact you about picking up the gift card via PM.

I will be glad to come and pick up any donations.

Note to the folks that love my cakes: We will be selling slices of cake at the benefit. I think I'll go with Lemon Sunshine, Splendiferous Coconut and Mighty-Mighty Pumpkin Cake. They will all go great with Matthew's coffee drinks. And beer. Lots of beer. Mark your calendars for the 16th! It's a great excuse to drive downtown and check out Matthew's shop. John and I went to a debate-watch party there last Thursday and fell in love with the place. Don't miss out!

Marsha,

PM sent from Ray's Monkey House...

Thanks for organizing!

I work out in the Plainview area. If you need something picked up out this way, please let me know. You don't need to do all that legwork!!

Neil and I will be there, and I'm making arrangements for Neil to volunteer his photography skills to the silent auction in some way. This whole thing really pisses me off, but the reaction of the local restaurant community makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. :D

I was struggling to think of something to donate myself when I realized, someone had to bid on this stuff. Might as well be me!

We just got donations from Monkey Drive and MemeTech screen printers.
Gonna be a heck of an auction.
Thanks everyone for jumping onboard so quickly.
This has gotten amazing support over the last 48 hours.
I really think we can do some good like this.
